This shapely tor (pronounced row as in argument, not ruff), has recently received some much-needed attention. As well as having a fine view of Cornwall’s highest point (Brown Willy), there must still be a few routes and a large number of boulder problems that could be tackled!

From just outside the centre of Camelford, there is a small, hard-to-find lane that leads to a large car park that sits below the imposing figure of Rough Tor. If you can’t find this lane, you can always take the more obvious road from the mostly derelict Davidstow airport, past the reservoir and onto the lane that leads from the centre of Camelford.
